  • Book Presentation

    On 26th January 2010 in the Hall of Institute of Economics at BAS on Aksakov 3, Sofia, at 16:00h will be presented the book "Decent Work and Quality of Employment in Bulgaria: Tendencies and Relationships", authored by I. Beleva, V. Tsanov, D. Velkova. Presenting the results of this research study will provoke discussions in expert environment on the problems of the employment quality in Bulgaria. The authors are convinced that the employment quality is a quite current topic, which acquires higher and higher significance for the development of the labor market.

Economic Studies journal is a scientific periodical with 4 issues annually. It is published by the Institute of Economics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It publishes results of scientific studies, dedicated to significant and interesting contemporary economic problems. It publishes papers in Bulgarian, as well as in English language. They are "double-blind" peer reviewed by two reviewers.


Since 2001 the papers in Economic Studies are indexed and abstracted by Journal of Economic Literature/EconLit, published by the American Economic Association (AEA).
